The GICLZ cylindrical gear coupling is an industrial power transmission device specifically designed for long-distance, high-precision applications. This coupling features a modular intermediate shaft structure, arranged in segments, allowing it to accommodate long-distance transmissions with shaft spans of up to 5 meters. This design effectively reduces the installation precision requirements for long shaft distances. Structurally, its core transmission components consist of an internal gear ring, external gear hub, intermediate shaft, and sealing assembly. The external gear hub features a crowned, curved tooth profile that can automatically compensate for radial, axial, and angular misalignments, with angular compensation capabilities of up to ±1.5° or higher, significantly exceeding the adaptation range of conventional straight-tooth couplings.
In terms of materials and manufacturing, both the internal and external gears are made of high-strength alloy forged steel and undergo deep carburizing and quenching, achieving a tooth surface hardness of HRC 60–64 while maintaining core toughness to balance impact resistance and wear resistance. The intermediate shaft is also manufactured from high-strength alloy steel, ensuring structural stability and bending resistance under heavy loads. During operation, torque from the driving shaft is transmitted to the intermediate shaft through the meshing of the external gear hub and internal gear ring, and then transferred to the driven shaft, forming a stable closed-loop power transmission. The crowned tooth design allows the meshing points to slide adaptively along the tooth width with shaft misalignment, effectively relieving localized stress concentrations, reducing vibration and noise, and maintaining continuous and stable torque transmission, with an efficiency of up to 99.7%.
The GICLZ coupling is equipped with a dual sealing system, including a labyrinth dust seal and a fluororubber lip seal, which effectively prevents dust, moisture, and corrosive media from entering, achieving a protection level of IP65 or higher and ensuring the internal lubrication system operates reliably over the long term. Its advanced structural design and adaptive meshing mechanism enable the GICLZ cylindrical gear coupling to provide highly efficient and dependable power transmission even under heavy load, long-distance, and complex angular displacement conditions.
